Koto Club Experience
Over the past few weeks, I joined the Koto club in club practice. They are all such talented and amazing students, and each member has very unique and fun personalities. I have never played the Koto before, but they were very patient in teaching me how to play. They tried their best to teach me using English. We played a song called "Sakura Dance" for the junior highschool students who visited Ozu Highschool on July 28th. They are currently practicing a very difficult song called “Spring Poem”. Little by little, they are mastering each part of the song. I am excited to watch their progress and see the results of all the hard work in the autumn when they perform.

この数週間、私は筝曲部の練習に参加しました。 彼らは皆とても才能あふれる素晴らしい高校生であり、各メンバーは非常にユニークで楽しい性格をしています。 私は箏を弾いたことはありませんが、彼らはとても粘り強く私に弾き方を教えてくれました。 彼らは私に英語を使って教えようと非常によく頑張りました。私たちは 7月28日に大洲高校を訪れた中学生の前で「さくら踊る」という曲を演奏しました。 彼らは現在、「春の詩集」と呼ばれる非常に難しい曲を練習しています。 少しずつながら、彼らは曲の各パートをマスターしています。 私は彼らの進歩を見て、この秋の努力の成果が彼らの演奏に表れることを楽しみにしています。
